Like his teammate Greg Oden, Mike Conley spent just one season in Columbus, and it was a memorable one, as the freshman set a school record for assists (238) and steals in a single season (87). Aaron Craft later broke Conley’s steals record.

The fact that Conley and Oden played on the same team and lost to Florida in the national championship game, speaks to the talent the Gators had returning to defend their 2006 title.

In his only NCAA Championship game appearance, Conley scored 20 points.
