The ‘Dawg House’  features players  and/or positions groups that underachieved or struggled immensely during the Cleveland Browns’ latest game.  I will also try to include important tweets from other columnist or from the player’s themselves after a tough game or performance.

“Play like a Brown.”

In case you were wondering what that means, It’s what Mike Pettine likes to tell his player’s to “motivate” them.  Now, I’m not a genius, but if I am trying to hype up the locker room, I’d say something like. “play like a New England Patriot,” or “play like a Seattle Seahawk.”  What is the biggest difference? Those teams win, the Cleveland Browns don’t–and Sunday was a collection of various disappointments against the Oakland Raiders.

I know I said in my first excerpt of the “Dawg House” that in all the years I’ve watched the Browns, I’ve never seen them perform as bad as they did against the New York Jets, but today trumps my thoughts on that by a mile.

From start to finish, this game was a disaster. Josh McCown looked like he’s never thrown a football in his life. The offensive line can’t consistently pass and run block throughout an entire game. The so-called “improved” defense was bending and breaking the entire game. That wasn’t even the worst of it. In half a quarter, the Browns only managed 40 yards of total offense, which is unheard of by a professional football team.

Just by throwing the ball, a quarterback is bound to get 70 yards, but only 40? Just like two weeks ago in New York, they looked ill-prepared and unmotivated. That’s on the coaching staff.

There were alot of player’s to choose from after the embarrassing loss, but these are some of my picks. Again, I encourage you to give feedback if I missed a player or if you had one of your own that should of been mentioned.
