Three new free agents who would fit with the Cleveland Indians in 2021.

The Cleveland Indians aren’t exactly synonymous with signing exciting free agents, but in recent vintage, the organization been no stranger in buying lottery tickets on players with the hope they outperform their contract.

With baseball’s economics turned upside down by a season in which owners’s couldn’t host fans, the market could be beneficial for teams willing to spend a little to get a player faced with the reality of taking a pay cut.

The Indians have their own problems, such as figuring what to do with Francisco Lindor.

Until they pull the trigger on that deal, the Tribe cleared their cluttered outfield a little bit by non tendering Delino DeShields and Tyler Naquin. DeShields was acquired in last winter’s deal with the Rangers for Corey blubber, while Naquin is a former first-round pick.

And while some bodies were removed, the Indians haven’t done anything to fix the conundrum that’s plagued the franchise.

Here’s three new free agents that would be a great fit for the Indians this season.
