Browns: Final 53 announced for team, plus entire list of cuts
By Chad Porto
The Cleveland Browns have announced their initial 53 for the regular season.
The Browns have announced their initial 53 for the regular season, resulting in 37 players getting cut from the first week of the preseason to now. The team is now down to the roster they’ll be taking into the regular season in about two weeks’ time.
There were some surprises and some baffling decisions for sure, but those will be covered in another article. Right now all we’re doing is listing the entire roster of 37 players who didn’t make the team.
It should be noted that anyone placed on the injured reserved is technically still on the team, but they can’t be activated for the entirety of the regular season. This is only for players placed on the IR before the final 53 was announced. If someone is placed on the IR now from the 53, they can be reactivated later on in the season.
