So far, so not good. Though, it isn’t unexpected that the start of this draft is grading out so poorly. The Cleveland Browns didn’t exactly have the best minds drafting in 2019. That’s not to say every pick was bad, just not these ones so far.

Now when it comes to Drew Forbes, he’s less a “bad player” and more of a “not good enough to get on the field” player. We really don’t know what he’s capable of, and that’s partly due to the fact he missed all of 2020 due to opting out of the season.

Still, while some will point out that we really don’t know what he is, so he shouldn’t get an “F”,  I’ll point out that in year one and year three of his career, there were plenty of injuries to the team and no one called his number. Did either Freddie Kitchens or Kevin Stefanski turn to him to fill spots? Nope, they did not. That to me says he’s either A) not good enough or B) not ready and after three years, neither is acceptable.

In fact, in all of his three seasons, he’s taken just nine snaps during an actual game. All of which came on special teams. There really isn’t much to say about Forbes, other than “what did you expect from a sixth-rounder?”

He beats out Sheldrick Redwine because, unlike Redwine, Forbes is still on the roster.
