The Cleveland Browns may be on the verge of re-signing several ex-players.

The Cleveland Browns are still building their roster for 2022 and there are some key issues that still need to be addressed. The team still needs to shore up the defensive line and add some receiver threats, and that could very well happen.

The team has explored possible trades with Brandin Cooks of the Houston Texans, but so far that hasn’t materialized into anything tangible yet. So that means the team is going back to the drawing board to continue to search for pieces to fit this new team-sized puzzle.

The Browns may be looking to get back into bed with some exes and each of the three names has been discussed to some degree both formally and informally. Yet, which of the three is most likely to return to Cleveland?

Ranking the three players most likely to return to the Cleveland Browns in 2022.

3. Odell Beckham Jr. – Under 20%

The only way this makes sense is if Odell Beckham finds no one else wants him. He had a nice little stint after his release, but he’s no longer a number one and really benefited from playing with Cooper Kupp, the league’s best receiver. Will he be anything close to what he could be after yet, another, lower leg injury? Only time will tell.

2. Jarvis Landry – 50/50

The rumor mill claimed that Jarvi Landry was looking for a raise, up around $20 million, and that’s why he took his release from Cleveland. He’s not worth that. He’s not worth half of that. So if he’s not going to find the money he wants on the free market, will he decide instead to go win someplace instead? That’s the question.

1. Jadeveon Clowney – Over 50%

If one player has the most likely chance of returning to the Cleveland Browns it’s Jadeveon Clowney. He’s largely inconsistent and isn’t likely to get a huge deal (or he would’ve by now). In Cleveland he doesn’t need to be “the man”, that’s Myles Garrett, so if Clowney comes back, he can put together a strong season and maybe return to free agency in 2023.
