Elijah Lee (Signed with the Chiefs)

The Cleveland Browns may need some guys on this list at some point this year, but Elijah Lee isn’t one of those names the team will “need”. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t a solid player for what was expected of him. While not a starter by any means, Lee did a great job in coverage when called upon. He was a solid name to have roaming around in the middle of the defense and wasn’t someone who was going to blow his assignments.

He wasn’t a star player or anything like that, but his coverage skills and his ability to get after guys on special teams made him a relatively valuable commodity.

The Browns let him go and Lee ended up signing with the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2023 season. He may be cut before the start of the year, but if he’s not, the 26-year-old ex-Detroit Lions player could find a home in that defense.

The Chiefs are looking for cost-effective players and Lee could be their fourth linebacker if given a chance.
