Cleveland Browns dominate Cincinnati Bengals in this week’s 3 Good and 3 Bad
By Chad Porto
The Good
The Passing Game
Jacoby Brissett looked wonderful all game. When he wasn’t underneath 30 different Bengals players, that is. Brissett has performed well, taking what’s given to him, and being able to keep the lead. Early in the fourth, Brissett did something he rarely does, stretching the field with a deep bomb to Amari Cooper.
Play calling
It sure helps when the other team can’t move more than 10 yards, but give Kevin Stefanski his due, he very easily could’ve fallen into his old habits but he actually ran the ball. For the first time in weeks, the team broke 30 carries. Considering they won, maybe Stefanski should stop trying to out-think the other team and just call the obvious play.
Defensive line
The Cleveland Browns defensive line is bad, but they aren’t as bad as the Cinncinatti Bengals’ offensive line. If the Browns feel they should still recoup some picks after the game, despite the win, the Bengals would be wise to try and steal Jack Conklin away from the Browns. Not that it would help, they need five new starters. After all, when you make Tommy Togiai look competent, that’s a sign that you really aren’t good at your job.
