Cleveland Browns dominate Cincinnati Bengals in this week’s 3 Good and 3 Bad
By Chad Porto
The Bad
The Pass Blocking
I’d love it if just for one game, it didn’t look like Jacoby Brissett was getting bodyslammed by a guy who looked like a pro wrestler. Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin got lit up earlier in the game when the Bengals were actually applying pressure via blitzes. Had they not gotten away from that practice, the Bengals may have performed better earlier.
Special Teams
Demetric Felton’s kickoff return in the fourth was pretty awful. To not even get to the 25-yard line is a sign that maybe you, or the squad as a whole, aren’t doing the job needed. Cade York also had a kick blocked earlier in the game, which is a combination of failures coinciding at the same time. These may be more minor gripes considering weeks past but they’re still issues.
Playing on Halloween
Can we all not do this again? Halloween is my favorite holiday. How dare you. (*sarcasm*). The Browns played well and didn’t really have many issues. The worst play on defense was a well-intended deflection that ended up going for a touchdown reception. The defense played a complete game, and considering how bad the Browns’ defensive line has been this year, it was a game they needed.
