As we continue our on going Fansided Local and NFL sites 2014 Mock Draft, we take a look at the 2 dual Mock Drafts presented by the guys at CBS Sports. Remember that these drafts could change drastically based on Juniors returning, and for the Browns based on who is their Head Coach.

Dane Bugler

"4. CLEVELAND BROWNS(4-12)Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M: Brandon Weeden won’t be back in Cleveland, Jason Campbell is a stopgap and while Brian Hoyer is still in the team’s long-term plans, he’s coming off an ACL injury and Cleveland needs to add a young arm to the mix. Manziel will certainly create colorful discussions between now and May, not only on Twitter and your local bar, but also scouting war rooms around the league. He will be an option for the Browns here."

In Bugler’s draft Blake Bortles, not Teddy Bridgewater goes #1 overall. For the Browns however this is of no impact as Teddy is off the board at #3. Manziel is the pick once again here. The Browns would have the option of offensive lineman Jake Matthews or Sammy Watkins based on how Bugler sees the draft going.

"26. CLEVELAND BROWNS (FROM INDIANAPOLIS)(4-12)Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M: The right tackle position has been a trouble spot for the Browns offense this season and Cleveland should toy with the idea of adding a right tackle and moving Mitchell Schwartz inside to guard. Ogbuehi isn’t quite as well-known as his teammate Jake Matthews, but he is almost as talented with a high ceiling himself."

Here Bugler has the Browns filling their need on the offensive line to protect new QB Bortles and to open up running lanes for the future running back. Ogbeuhi plays on the same line as Matthews which may help him look better then maybe he is. Allen Robinso, Jace Amaro as well as some defensive backs were still available at this point.

Rob Rang

"4. CLEVELAND BROWNS(4-12)Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M: After starting out the season 3-2, the Browns lost 10 of their final 11 games, costing head coach Rob Chudzinski his job after just one year. With two first round picks due to the Trent Richardson trade, the Browns have the ammunition to move up should they fall in love with a quarterback. Otherwise, adding the ultra-safe Matthews and moving Mitchell Schwartz inside to guard might be the first step towards bringing back some credibility in Cleveland."

No change here in Rang’s draft, instead of going with the #3 quarterback, either Manziel or Derek Carr, the Browns pick up a possibly great bookend to Joe Thomas. Would the team spend a high pick on a position they already have a high level player? Last year’s addition of Barkevious Mingo is proof that they would.

"26. CLEVELAND BROWNS (FROM INDIANAPOLIS)(4-12)Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State: Until the identity of the Browns’ next head coach is known, projecting which quarterback they’ll add in the offseason is going to be difficult. Carr’s struggles against Southern Cal in the Vegas Bowl has his stock in flux but he possesses as much arm talent as any quarterback in the 2014 draft class, including projected No. 1 overall pick Teddy Bridgewater."

Rang has Manziel going 5th to the Raiders but Carr, the 4th QB, slipping all the way to 26th. Would the Vikings skip over a shot at Carr? What about the Titans? Would the Cardinals, Chiefs, Cowboys, Steelers or Bengals snap up Carr as a possible long term replacement for their current QB? Would this be another Brandon Weeden like pick, a big armed senior QB picked late in the first round?

Whose draft do you like better? Is the risk of not taking a QB too great? Who would you pick instead of their picks? Would the selection of Matthews, with a promise of Carr later be worth it? What if it was Sammy Watkins and Carr? Let us know in the comment section below.
