6. Atlanta Falcons
Anthony Barr

The Falcons built up their defense, for their transition to the 3-4, and find their final piece here in Barr who is just starting to scratch the surface of his abilities. Barr will lineup on the outside and Mike Nolan will send him loose after the QB but he also has the athleticism to play in coverage.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Aaron Donald

The Bucs think about picking up Bridgewater but Lovie Smith decides to finish up his defense with a big powerful DT in Donald who has shot up boards since the Senior Bowl and shouldn’t be a shock being found here at this point. The Bucs could go a number of directions after their free agent haul but take a solid riser.

8. Minnesota Vikings
Mike Evans

The Vikings have to upgrade their offense and with Cordarrelle Patterson and Greg Jennings they add the huge Evans to their receiver core, a type of player they currently are missing. Evans may seem like a luxury pick but the Vikings spent resources on defense and need to use Adrian Peterson‘s prime better. Evans opens up options in the red zone and on jump balls for Matt Cassel. The Vikings could look to add either of the remaining QBs but pass.

9. Buffalo Bills
Jake Matthews

The Bills think long and hard about adding a weapon like Eric Ebron but instead set their offensive line up to protect their QB and open up holes in the running game. Matthews is not the athlete of Robinson but is a high motor player that can play left or right side.

10. Detroit Lions
Calvin Pryor

Maybe the first shocking pick of the draft is Pryor going this high and above Clinton-Dix. Safety has been a position that has increased in value, as Jarius Byrd’s contract with the Saints proves. Pryor could be the best of the bunch and can be a help to the Lions young secondary.
