Mar 21, 2014; Raleigh, NC, USA; Duke Blue Devils forward Jabari Parker (1) drives to the basket against Mercer Bears forward Jakob Gollon (20) in the second half of a men

With the Second Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft the Milwaukee Bucks Select….

Jabari Parker. This is the one team that most likely would select Parker over Wiggins. The Bucks have a ton of defensive ability in their front court so adding Wiggins wouldn’t make as much sense. Parker on the other hand, with his offensive array of skills could fit in nicely alongside the plethora of players the Bucks have with long arms and defensive prowess. Parker could fill the Glenn Robinson role with the Bucks and would be the front runner for Rookie of the Year.

While the Bucks are on the clock I expect a number of teams to be calling the Cavs seeing if they really want to keep Wiggins. Griffin will clearly present his expectations in terms of a trade and let the other team think about it. The Cavs will have all the leverage, with both Parker and Wiggins off the board, starting at pick 3. The Cavs don’t have to move the pick but the two best talents in this draft, that are healthy are now gone. Teams will either be looking at the next tier of players or the injury concern of Joel Embiid. Griffin sits and waits.
