Kyrie Irving may have some bigger issues to consider as the All-Star guard tries to recover from a broken knee cap suffered in last seasons’ NBA Finals.

Irving, 23 , may soon be a dad–and the mom is a former Texas beauty queen, according to TMZ. The Cavs’ floor general recently filed court documents for a paternity test in the Lonestar State stating “he impregnated 2010 Miss Texas United States Andrea Wilson.”

Wilson is active on Instagram and has been documenting the pregnancy. TMZ cites court docs as stating Irving and Wilson began dating in 2013, but are now separated.

TMZ’s story adds that Irving wants to support the kid through child support, with the catch that the child be raised in Texas.

OK, Kyrie apparently fathered a child with a Ms. Texas. Just when you thought things couldn’t get anymore salacious, there’s this:

According to Gossip website Bossip, Irving took Wilson to “Turks and Caicos in July when they found out she was expecting, but since Kyrie’s bff Chris Brown won his Texas child custody case he’s been advising Kyrie on how to get out of paying her anything. Andrea took down all pictures of them and the baby’s initials AEI (Azurie Elizabeth Irving) from her Instagram page.”

The news comes around the same time that Irving is reported to be healthy for the start of Cavaliers Training Camp Sept. 29, which contradicts reports Irving was going to be sidelined until January.

The 2015-2016 season is the first season in which Irving will play under his five-year, $90 million maximum level contract.
