There’s five Ohio State football alums playing in Super Bowl 50–and all are big contributors to their respective teams.

What’s the best recruiting tool Urban Meyer can use when trying to lure 16- and 17-year old blue chip prospects to Columbus? Sure, Eddie George winning the Heisman over 20 years ago is great, but there’s no sweeter music to a recruit’s ears than the promise of what Ohio State can do for a potential NFl career.

Any green-eared teenager with a decision to make can turn on Super Bowl 50 this Sunday and see five Ohio State Buckeyes making an impact in the biggest football game of the year. We’re not talking about the long snapper and the backup center. We’re talking speedy receivers capable of hitting a home run at any given moment. We’re talking an undrafted left guard who gets better marks than those drafted in his same rookie class. We’re talking about a forgotten about safety who found the right fit and now leads the NFC in interceptions.

Ohio State’s produced a laundry list of football players in its storied history, but on Super Bowl Sunday, these five; Ted Ginn Jr., Corey Brown, Andrew Norwell, Bradley Roby and Kurt Coleman, will be playing under the games brightest lights.
