#23 Kansas City Chiefs Select Marqise Lee, USC, Wide Receiver – One of the most productive wide receivers in the draft, Lee fits both the needs of the Chiefs and is the best player available in the draft. Kansas City’s passing offense struggled against more stout defenses because of their lack of weapons at wide receiver. Donnie Avery struggled all season as the number two receiver opposite of Dwayne Bowe. His Pro Football Focus grade was below -8, and his key drops in big games hurt the Chiefs frequently. Lee would be a one of a few pieces the Chiefs need to add to their offense if they are going to take the next step in 2014.

Next on the Clock: Cincinnati Bengals

The Chiefs add a solid route runner in Lee. Is Lee enough to make the Alex Smith led offense dynamic enough to compete with the Denver Broncos and others in the playoffs? Does the offense need a bigger back to compliment Jamaal Charles and to run clock? Tell us who you think they should of drafted in our comments below and check out more at KC Kingdom.
