#25 San Diego Chargers Select Trent Murphy, Stanford, Linebacker – The San Diego Chargers select Trent Murphy with the 25th pick. Trent Murphy fills a pass rushing need for the Chargers. He will compete for playing time with Thomas Keiser, Melvin Ingram and Manti Te’o. The Chargers are desperate for a pass rush after finished 29th in the league this season and are also in the market for a second running back. I could see the Chargers going after a pass rusher like Vic Beasley or Kyle Van Noy or a change of pace back like De’Anthony Thomas or Ka’Deem Carey.

Next on the Clock: Cleveland Browns

The Chargers add to their defense with the addition of Murphy. Should the Chargers look to add to their secondary or find another explosive offensive member like they did with Keenan Allen? The #26 pick is up, and that means the Cleveland Browns are on the clock. What do you think about the Chargers pick? Who do you like that is still on the board for the Browns before they make their pick?
