"(3rd Round) 7. Cleveland Browns: CB Vic Hampton, South Carolina"

  • In the 3rd round, after knocking out the Browns’ offensive needs, Miller hits one of the two big holes on defense, a starting level corner back. Hampton came out early after playing well for the Gamecocks and now finds a home in Cleveland. Though he only stands 5’10” he does play physical and is a good man to man corner opposite Joe Haden and joining Buster Skrine and Leon McFadden.

"(3rd Round) 19. Cleveland Browns (from Steelers): DE Josh Mauro, Stanford"

  • With the pick from the Steelers the Browns add to their defensive front 7, where depth is needed but a luxury with this pick. Mauro played in a professional level defense at Stanford and should provide relief for the Browns front 7 right away.
