2007 – Dallas Cowboys – Anthony Spencer

Spencer was a defensive end coming out of Purdue when the Cowboys picked him at #26. He transitioned well to the 3-4 outside linebacker position and was a Pro Bowl player 2 years ago. Injuries limited him to only 1 game last season. The 2012 season was by far his best season, with 11 sacks. The Cowboys franchised tagged Spencer to keep him off the free agent market 2 years in a row but his injury and the Cowboys cap issues will keep that from happening again. Spencer is most likely going to have to take a 1 year make good deal with high incentives after his injury but the Pro Bowl appearance and 2 years as the Cowboys franchise tag guy show that he was a good pick at #26.
