Geoff Schwartz – G – Kansas City Chiefs

Geoff is the brother of Mitchell. This is called killing two birds with one stone. The Browns have a need at the guard position and need to get the former second round pick Schwartz, Mitchell, established as their RT of the future. Geoff is a solid veteran who can provide strength up the middle as well as support his brother’s development. Schwartz may get a large contract for a guard, especially with the higher salary cap, but could provide a level of security for the team’s other assets that the remaining free agents could not. If the Browns decide Mitchell is more of a guard in the new system a tackle such as Eugene Monroe or Michael Oher could be looked at to fill in at RT.
