Possibly upsetting many Kiper passes on a WR to pair with Manziel and instead goes with Verrett out of TCU to pair with Joe Haden. It is an interesting pick that could pay off big time, especially with the 3 weapons the Browns already have as receiving threats in Gordon, Cameron and Andrew Hawkins. Here is why he picked Verrett:

"I get the corner I need in Verrett because I think, unlike most corners, he’s pretty capable of helping me right away."

So having a player that can help right away was important for Kiper for the Browns. Has he bought into the idea that Jimmy Haslam wants to win now and would take a player who can contribute right away over a player who is more talented but more raw?
