#218 – Isaiah Crowell

Finally the Browns address their long term running back need with Crowell, who could be the most talented player. Yet his off the field issues make him a big risk. He could get taken anywhere from the late 4th to possibly being undrafted. Like Armonty Bryant last year Crowell is a risky pick but in the 7th round the value is perfect for taking that risk. If he hits he fills the starting role in 2 years after Tate starts to slow down.

The Browns could look to add more defenders here but the depth of their team is on that side and the value is here with this pick. Crowell’s ability to be a one cut and go runner in Kyle Shanahan’s offense could change the AFC North’s future, along with the myriad of weapons added throughout the draft.
