#180 – Logan Thomas

After getting McCarron earlier the Browns find the big armed, but severely mechanically limited, Thomas here in the 6th round. His arm talent and ability to make plays on the ground could get him drafted earlier then this but the middle rounds are full of interesting prospects that could allow Thomas, or another QB, to be available here. Adding the physical element of Thomas gives the Browns another, different option, then McCarron for long term development.

Connor Shaw and Kenny Guiton are interesting other late prospects that could get attention from the Browns near the end of the draft. With Thomas available the Browns get a noted skill, two actually, but a player who needs long term development. The Browns could go from Hoyer for a year or two, to McCarron for a year or two and Thomas could be ready by the end of his rookie contract.
