NBA Draft: What I Expect to Happen

With the Sixth Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft the Boston Celtics Select….
Joel Embiid. The Celtics can take a chance and bring in Embiid. Embiid fits a need on their roster and they can be patient. Yet the Cavs could be involved in 1 last crazy trade. This one wouldn’t involve Wiggins going anywhere but still involve Embiid coming to the Cavs.
The Celtics want Kevin Love, the T’Wolves want today players and picks and the Cavs want Embiid. The basics of this trade scenario is the Wolves send Love to the Celtics, the Celtics send Embiid to the Cavs and Jared Sullinger and a first rounder to the Wolves and the Cavs send Dion Waiters, Anderson Varejao and 2 first round picks to the Wolves. More pieces would be added to make everything work but everyone goes home happy. The Wolves get a few players that can start right away while adding 3 first round picks. The Celtics get Love but don’t have to gut their roster to do so. And finally the Cavs get both Wiggins and Embiid while giving up picks they hope will be later in the draft, Waiters (tough for this writer) and Varejao.
What do you think?
