The Browns are going to really, really miss Josh Gordon. The whole year, eight games, six games, it doesn’t matter.

Everybody already knows it, but the Browns record holder gets open so effortlessley. Gordon’s an elite talent, who makes everybody around him look good because the game comes his way so easily.

While his appeal for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy hangs in the balance, Gordon started for the Browns in Detroit.

He had two catches for 32 yards, but his long was a 22-yard grab from Hoyer.

Gordon remains eligible to practice and play as long as his appeal is pending.
