Jason Campbell was brought to Cleveland to be a veteran backup to Brandon Weeden. However, when Weeden went down in 2013 with a thumb injury, Browns coaches opted to promote third stringer Brian Hoyer ahead of the former first-round pick.

When he was pressed into action, Campbell hardly came off like a guy energized to lead football team, and many Browns fans wondered what he was doing on the roster in the first place.

Campbell is now a backup in Cincinnati.
