The Browns were looking for some veteran leadership heading into the 2005 campaign, and Phil Savage thought Trent Dilfer was the man for the job.
He had the highest completion rate of his career, but he butted heads with offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon, and asked for a trade following the season.
Dilfer might be the most recognizable of the former Browns quarterbacks, as he works as an NFL analyst for ESPN, while also running quarterback camps from his home in California.
