Cleveland Indians: 3 Reasons Team Wins Now With Recent Roster Moves

Are the recent transactions and known future transactions that should occur soon going to impact the team for the best?
Through a season of plenty of ups and downs, the Cleveland Indians are now inching closer to getting above .500. The team has been on a roll the last few weeks as they look to maintain a winning season going forward.
During the month of May, Jason Kipnis had outstanding success and definitely helped start the run the team has had. Kipnis had a .429 average with 51 hits last month.
Cleveland is not an organization where they are going to buy talent often. Sure, they will go out and make a trade or sign someone to fill a need but that is not how they completely run the team. For years though, the Tribe has built from within or tried to hit the lottery with some free agents.
This approach is something we should all be used to be now.
The interesting thing about the current roster is that many of their top players are actually not draft picks of the team.
Can the team continue to win now while implementing youth? Yes! Sometimes that rookie or other very young player can be the spark plug that a team needs.
