9 Offseason Moves The Cleveland Cavaliers Must Address

Happy trails Shawn Marion, Kendrick Perkins, and Haywood. You took up bench space when the Cavs needed depth, and provided little help during the postseason.

Marion has already said he plans to retire, while Haywood’s contract situation was mentioned in a  previous slide.

Perkins was brought in as insurance in case something happened to  Timofey Mozgov. The former Thunder/Celtics big man was to slow to even consider using while matching up with the Warriors in the Finals.

James Jones will also be an unrestricted free agent. Because of his ties to LeBron, Jones could be back, mostly because he’s affordable. Jones had some nice shots in the playoffs, but his successes were to few and far between to have made that big of an impact.
