Offensive Skill Players

One of the biggest things I overlooked when thinking about the Browns upcoming season was the Offense itself. Other than maybe the Quarterback position (and a lot of people would argue that position as well), the Browns have upgraded every skill position on offense.

The most exciting name is Duke Johnson, the rookie running back from the University of Miami has been added to the already successful running back duo of Isiah Crowell and Terrance West.

A lot of pundits believe Duke Johnson will actually start for the Browns at some point, which is great because with how the Browns offense is structured to play this upcoming season Johnson will have to take on a big role on the offense whether he starts or not. The sooner he’s ready to play the better.

Andrew Hawkins, Taylor Gabriel and the rest of the Browns wide receivers also got a bit of an upgrade with veteran names like former Kansas City Chief, Dwayne Bowe and former Miami Dolphin, Brian Hartline. While neither of these guys are expected to set the world on fire they are established veterans and bring leadership to a lackluster passing game.

It’s also worth mentioning that Terrelle Pryor will be trying to make the team as a wideout as. While he doesn’t have much experience as a receiver, Pryor is 6-foot-4 and runs a 4.38 40-yard dash. The physical attributes scream potential.
