Maryland Is The B1G Doormat

What kind of problems do the Terrapins present to the Buckeyes? Apparently, not many, because the media didn’t even ask Urban Meyer anything about Maryland at the coach’s Monday press conference.

Plus, the Terrapin defense could be what the Buckeyes need to get back on track. Maryland ranks 109th in the country in total defense, surrendering 449.4 yards per contest.

That all breaks down into the Terrapins allowing 5.58 yards per play. I can’t see the future, but Saturday sure looks bright as Ezekiel Elliott continues his Heisman Trophy campaign.

The Terrapins are in just their second season competing in the Big Ten. During Ohio State’s trip to College Park a season ago, the Buckeyes trampled the Terrapins in a huge, confidence building game for then starter J.T. Barrett as the offense put up 52 points.

The Buckeyes are favored 33 points by Bovada and a similar occurrence is expected, even with the Buckeyes recent struggles on offense.
