Bye Week Recovery

The Browns are coming off a bye week and the break came at an opportune time.

While the Ravens have been hit really hard by injuries lately, the Browns have suffered a very similar fate. As the Browns play the back-end of their season, there’s no dearth of injuries to go around at key positions.

They even have four players recovering from concussions suffered from earlier games this season. Both guard Joel Bitonio and McCown were participants in Friday’s practice going into this weekend.  Bitonio was limited in practice while McCown was a full participant.

Other Browns who have recently suffered from the concussion bug include safety Donte Whitner, who also was a full participant in practice after being knocked out of the Browns’ Week 8 contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

While the Browns still have some key players who are going to be out for this game–Joe Haden comes to mind–Cleveland does bring in a few familiar faces going into this matchup. These returning players coming back into the lineup will help out this team immensely.
