Manziel Is Not An Option

Anyone but Manziel. Lying to the team and betraying the trust of the entire organization was the last straw for me. I do not care if he can play or not; get rid of him. Draft another quarterback, and good riddance Johnny. Let the Dallas Cowboys deal with his idiocy. Manziel is Jerry Jones‘ cup ‘o tea.

Austin Davis. The quarterback position in the NFL is the most valuable position in this game. The QB is the leader of the offense, as well as a leader on and off the field. You do not see Andrew Luck, Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, and Aaron Rodgers partying constantly and getting into sticky situations. Manziel has the mind of a college kid.

It’s time for him to grow up. He is in a professional league and it’s his job. He doesn’t have the qualities a starting quarterback should have. What are the Browns missing? A leader on and off the field. A guy that says “follow me, I’ll lead us to greatness.” Manziel just wants to lead the guys to the nearest bar.

I would much rather develop a Paxton Lynch, Connor Cook or Jared Goff. It’s time to move on. You’re only as strong as your weakest link, and it starts with the quarterback position.
