Matchup To Watch

Browns Run Game vs. Steelers Run Defense

While I expect Davis to do well against this bad Steelers passing defense, I doubt he will be able to keep up with Roethlisberger and company by himself.

That is where the Browns rushing attack comes in. While the Browns have had an abysmal rushing attack this season, they have managed to improve in the run game over the past few games.

Over the last three games, the Browns have run for 230 yards against San Francisco, 94 yards against Seattle and 232 yards against Kansas City. That adds up to an average of 185 rushing yards per game over the last three games and 5.15 yards per rushing attempt. Those are very good stats considering how bad the rushing attack was to start the season.

On the flip side however, are the Steelers run defense who only gives up 91.5 rushing yards per game which is the sixth fewest in the NFL this season.

If the Browns can win this matchup, they will be able to put up a lot of points. That is a must for Cleveland in order to keep up with the Steelers offense in this game.
