PG: Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving or Mark Price. It’s a tough call, but ultimately the nod has to go to Irving, who played arguably the greatest All-Star game in Cavs’ history. Through his first five seasons, Irving made the All-Star game three times, winning the game’s MVP award for his 31-point, 14-assist effort during the 2013-2014 season.

Before that game, Irving was a No. 1 pick with great stats who played for a losing team. That game set Irving up as a budding superstar and with a national audience, the masses had to take note.

Irving isn’t the traditional point guard that Price was. Price was a better 3-point shooter and could dole out more assists.

Price was a four-time All-Star with Cleveland, and he won the 3-point competition twice.

During the 1992-1993 contest, he converted 6 of the 9 3-pointers he attempted, and ended the game with 19 points and four assists. The next year, he dropped 20 on the NBA’s elite, while adding five assists.

Irving gets the start on talent, but Price is easily the Cavs’ sixth man when it comes to the Cavs’ All-Time All-Star rotation.
