Tahir Whitehead

The Browns are staying with the 3-4 defense, so why not finally get some linebackers that will make the team faster? With speed in mind, the 25-year-old Whitehead should be a prized target.

He played the 4-3 in Detroit, but I’d be comfortable putting him into middle linebacker in a 3-4 scheme because he should still be able to do what he does best: stuff the run.

Additionally, his speed allows him to drop into coverage to pick up a tight end and he’s big enough at 6-foot-2, 242 pounds,  to eat up blockers and open up blitzing lanes for his fellow middle linebacker and safeties.
