Josh Doctson

Josh Doctson will arguably be the best available receiver when the Browns pick at No. 32. The TCU product transferred from Wyoming and posted stellar stats in Forth Worth during his two-year stay, hauling in 179 passes for 2,784 yards and 29 touchdowns.

At 6-foot-3, he’s got the height, but he’s going to need to add weight (195 pounds), but that’s why NFL teams employ strength and conditioning personnel.

The recent NFL combine offered further proof of why the Browns would be stupid not to select Dotson at 32. With all eyes on him a the combine, he recorded a 4.50 40-yard dash, and topped that off by adding a 41-inch leap in the vertical jump. The 40-time wasn’t lightning quick, but it’s fast enough.

It’s imperative the Browns use their first three picks (all in the top 65) to find playmakers. They’ll probably use the first to get a quarterback, and if Dotson is on the board at 32, it’d be criminal not to get the quarterback of the future a weapon on offense.
