Do What Is Best

The Cleveland Browns over the last 10 years in the draft have not done their due diligence on their top picks! Look, you are not going to hit a home run with every pick or even the early round picks. However, their picks have been atrocious and led to where the team is today.

Other NFL teams do not find a star every pick or even every year. Yet, they usually end up with some solid players. Then again those teams do not change their front office and coaching staffs every other year.

Except for a few players, the Cleveland Browns are starting over as evidenced by the free agents they let get away. Therefore, they must deliver during the draft over the next few years. Cleveland must realize both in the draft and during free agency that the analytical approach they are using does not mean always going cheap!

You get what you pat for is not always the truth in the league as evidenced by their signing of one Dwayne Bowe last year. Sashi Brown and his cohorts must do what is best for the team.

At least, Cleveland has a respected head coach with a decent track record. That is more than what they have started with before.
