6. 2014-2015 Cleveland Cavaliers

This team had Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, but not for the Finals. Irving fractured his knee cap in Game 1, and James had to do his best with Matthew Dellavedova, a cold J.R. Smith and a banged up Iman Shumpert.

Thinking back, it’s a miracle the Cavs won two games in this series, and even more crazy that Cleveland even had a 2-1 lead at one point.

Attrition caught up to the Cavaliers, though, as the Warriors bounced the Cavs in six games. James had a terrific Finals. Some thought he should’ve been the MVP. But he just didn’t have the help. James posted a stat line boating 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.

The Cavs just ran out of talent.

This team will best remembered for James valiant effort, in addition to Matthew Dellavedova becoming a national figure. Delly saw his fame rise to new heights after he had to go to the hospital because of dehydration.

With the Cavs fully healthy, who knows what could’ve been the outcome. The Warriors just caught the breaks the Cavs ended up catching the next season.
