Detroit Pistons
Hard to imagine Delly playing for a Central Division rival, but the Pistons need a backup point guard.
ESPN writer Brian Windhorst said in a recent TrueHoop podcast that Pistons were attending Cavs playoff games. He believes they attended with Delly on their mind (Transcript via Hoops Rumors).
“…The Detroit Pistons were hanging around in the playoffs a lot, sending scouts. They weren’t sending scouts to evaluate J.R. Smith, I think they intend to go after Dellavedova,” Windhorst said.
Detroit’s starter is Reggie Jackson and the Pistons have a little money to spend.
Detroit coach Stan Van Gundy also made it known that he’s searching for a young, veteran point guard.
#Pistons SVG on @971theticketxyt said they'll seek "a younger veteran" point guard in free agency.

Dellavedova, 25, fits SVG’s description.
This past season, Delly averaged 11.0 points and 6.5 assists per 36 minutes–all improvements from the 2014-2015 campaign. And while his turnover rate wasn’t good(17.7 percent), Delly still managed to lead the Cavs in assist-to-turnover ratio, which shows that Delly became more of a playmaker this season.
