Cleveland Browns: How Many Quarterbacks Will Start In 2016?

Prediction Could Be Easily Be Exceeded

How many quarterbacks will start for the Browns this season? Well, we’re already at three. The Robert Griffin III experiment ended before it started. Josh McCown, who is an absolute warrior, is down for the count after being destroyed in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.
So that leaves them with rookie Cody Kessler. I am not very religious, but I will be praying for his safety heading into Week 3. The team just signed veteran QB Charlie Whitehurst to back Kessler up.
Stanford product Kevin Hogan is currently on the practice squad, but I would bet my car he gets a start this season. Whitehurst will be the fourth to start under center. Hogan will be the fifth. Therefore, I’ll cautiously say five QBs will start a game this year.
Nothing shocks me with the Browns, though. But, who knows? Is anybody down for a Jason Campbell return? Maybe Hue Jackson will give Spergeon Wynn a call when his entire QB room is in the ER?
Or better yet, how about a triumphant Bruce Gradkowski reunion in Cleveland? Now that I am done venting, my final answer is five starting QBs. Although, I would not be shocked to see that number exceeded.
