Mookie Betts

Mookie Betts will probably win the AL MVP. He used 2016 to hit .318 with 113 RBIs. Oh yeah, he’ scored 122 runs, too. He’s also a Web Gem waiting to happen.

Need saber metric proof Betts is MVP worthy? His 9.3 WAR trails only Mike Trout. Betts plays for a winner.

Betts possesses a real problem for the Tribe. Neutralizing his talent could mean the difference between shutting down the Red Sox offense or constantly playing from behind.

And there’s more bad news for the Indians. Betts has clobbered Tribe pitching in 2016. In six games against the Tribe, Betts is batting .370 with a 1.208 OPS. Throw in three home runs for good measure, and you can find me in my bedroom hiding under my Indians quilt during Betts’ ALDS at-bats.
