Curtis Samuel RB/WR

The man currently holding the title of Cleveland Browns Head Coach is an offensive guru. So, why not give him some weapons.

How’s Curtis Samuel sound?

Samuel’s speed and athleticism, and well as his ability to lineup at receiver and halfback would cause opposing defensive coordinators fits.

“Good luck guessing where Samuel might line up. Just his presence can cause disruption for defenses. He can run the ball out of the backfield with tailback Mike Weber as a lead blocker, take a handoff on a jet sweep, beat a cornerback deep on man-to-man coverage, or sit in the middle of the zone defense to move the chains with catches,” CBS sportswriter Jon Solomon wrote.

Samuel grew up falling in love with the plays Urban Meyer designed for Percy Harvin at Florida. At Ohio State, Samuel’s livingout his own dream of playing in a Meyer-based offense.

In Cleveland, the Browns’ lack of talent prohibits Jackson from getting too crazy on offense. The addition of Samuel would help him unlock the playbook.

Samuel’s totaled 65 receptions for 822 yards and seven touchdowns through the air. On the ground, he has averaged 7.7 yards per carry for 704 yards with eight scores.

He’s a junior, so he may decide to return to Ohio State for one more year. But if he comes out, he’s projected to be a first or second rounder, according to WalterFootball.com.
