PG Rajon Rondo

The Cavaliers acquired small forward Cedi Osman during the 2015 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-8 Turkish wing is garnering significant interest across the league, according to AmicoHoops.

Osman averages 8.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 threes on 44.1 percent shooting in 19.6 minutes per game for Anadolu Efes of the Euroleague. At 21, his potential is limitless, especially if he continues to improve his long-distance shooting.

For a Chicago Bulls team looking for answers, dumping a disgruntled Rajon Rondo for the potential of Osman is advantageous. Rondo, 30, is a four-time All Star and led the NBA in assists (11.7) last season with the Sacramento Kings. He also won a title in 2008 with the Boston Celtics — adding postseason experience to an already battle-tested Cavaliers roster.

Rondo is shooting a career low 36.2 percent from the floor, while his usage percentage of 16.3 percent is the lowest of his career. His 6.9 points per game is his lowest output since his rookie season, and his average of 6.9 assists is his worst since his sophomore campaign. Quite frankly, the Bulls and Rondo just don’t mix. If he’s willing to take a reduced role for a chance at another ring, Cleveland is the perfect fit.
