The Indians will win the World Series

This will finally be the year the Indians get it done. After falling painfully short last season after being up 3-1 in the World Series on the eventual-champion Chicago Cubs, the Indians went out and got better. Much better.

They will get a full season out of Brandon Guyer and Abraham Almonte in the outfield, as well as that Miller guy in the bullpen. Young, talented prospects such as Diaz and Zimmer are expected to make a big impact this season.

Brantley, Carlos Carrasco, and Danny Salazar are also back from their respective injuries. Trevor Bauer’s finger finally stopped bleeding too!

Aside from Napoli and Rajai Davis (thank you for your contributions, gentlemen), the rest of the team is back and hungrier than ever to win a title for Cleveland. The Indians will have a ton of competition this season, as the Red Sox look as dangerous as ever.

The Cubs are still loaded with young, quality talent. Meanwhile, the rest of Major League Baseball is chocked full of raw talent and postseason ambition, just waiting for their chance to make a name for themselves on the biggest stage.

The Indians had that chance last season and will now look to accomplish what the Kansas City Royals were able to in 2015: Win a World Series title the year after losing it the previous season. It won’t be easy, but Cleveland has all the makings of a potential World Series champion. With a little luck here and there, maybe 2017 will finally be the year of the Tribe.
