LeBron is chasing Jordan

Leading up to the Finals, we’ve all been debating Jordan vs. LeBron.

At this point, it’s splitting hairs, but LeBron–who is well versed in NBA history–knows there’s one absolute way he’ll be measured: NBA titles.

He has three Larry O’Brien trophies, and he has a chance to Jordan’s lead to two with a victory in the Finals, and you better believe he knows it.

For what it’s worth, LeBron is on the same level as Jordan. He’s been to the Finals seven times in a row, and eight times overall. Jordan never went that many times.

And think of some of the teams LeBorn took to the Finals? That 2007 team of Boobie Gibson and Sasha Pavolic? Please! He still doesn’t get enough credit.

Winning a championship in Cleveland should be viewed as the same as winning three Larry O’Brien trophies, as far as I”m concerned.

Many an athlete have come to Cleveland with the burden of winning it all on their shoulders, and all have failed since 1964, except LeBron James.

Winning is what matters most to bloviators such as Skip Bayless. If LeBron wants to shut them up, he’s got to keep winning those gold trophies.
