3. Shawn Morimando, Columbus Clippers.

Shaw Morimando may just be the missing piece the Cleveland Indians pitching staff is missing.

Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco are as dominant as ever. Mike Clevinger has not been as bad as fans have thought he was going to be. Josh Tomlin is the flip of a coin with his starts. Tomlin is either going to give you 5-7 solid innings, or he is going to get blown up in the first couple innings.

Trevor Bauer is the same as Tomlin. Bauer has the stuff to give the Indians good quality starts, but he has to find a rhythm early or it is going to be a nightmare.

Danny Salazar has been the biggest question mark for the rotation so far. Before the injury, Salazar seemed as if it was going to have the worst season he has ever had. But he as bounced back.

The leaves 2 spots that still have a question mark next to them. Tomlin and Bauer.

That question mark may be able to be replaced with an exclamation point. Thanks to Shawn Morimando.

Morimando has been by far the work horse for the Clippers rotation in 2017. With a record of 10-6 and an ERA of 3.96. He has 21.1 more innings pitched then the next closest pitcher.

With being in the second half of the season and the trade deadline just around the corner, if the Indians don’t make any moves calling Morimando up should not be pushed out of the picture.
