3. Army will be fighting an uphill battle against the Buckeyes who are coming off a home loss.

Unfortunately for Army, this isn’t the best time for them to be paying a visit to Ohio Stadium. The Bucks are coming off a loss on their home turf where their points were almost doubled by the visiting opponent.

Not only that, but the opponent also happened to plant their school’s flag in the middle of the field following the defeat. It’s not like a humiliating loss like that adds any fuel to the fire does it?

The Buckeyes haven’t lost two consecutive games in the regular season since 2011. Urban Meyer hasn’t lost back-to-back regular season games since his last season with Florida in 2010.

The odds are tipped in the favor of the Bucks but this shouldn’t be an excuse for them to take this game lightly. Army has shown that they are an improving team and have some victories last season to show for it. Army beat Wake Forest on the road and defeated Navy to snap their 14 game losing streak in the series.

Home field advantage and pride will be what wins it for the Bucks on Saturday. After a beat down on their home turf last week, the Bucks desperately need to prove their worth in every game from here on in order to make it back to the playoffs. The road to the playoffs starts here for the Bucks and the Army Black Knights will be the first to witness their comeback.
