Cleveland Browns: 10 step method to fixing the team
9. Focus the rest of the draft on depth across the board
Nothing real in-depth here. There is no reason to reinvent the wheel after making the decisions previously recommended.
However, one of the points of emphasis should be the linebacking corp. Christian Kirksey and Jamie Collins are locked in at outside linebacker, and while inside backer Joe Schobert has looked good so far this season, that should not stop the Browns from addressing the position multiple times.
10. WIN
Whew. So after all that, the coaching staff is in-tact, explosive players have been added on both sides of the ball and the Browns finally have a roster that looks respectable. Notice, Step 10 does not say “Win the Super Bowl,” but winning six to eight games would not be out of the question with the moves that were made in Steps 1-9. Following each step is crucial though and none can be put on hold.
