INDIANAPOLIS, IN – SEPTEMBER 24: Kenny Britt /

Kenny Britt

This is the second time of many that Kenny Britt has been a candidate for the dawg house.

It was tough choosing between him,and my number one choice for the DH this week–so he got lucky.

What a disaster he is. I don’t believe there has been a player more hated by Browns fans than Britt is currently. He disrespects the media, fans–and even bashed playing in London! The nerve of this guy.

The Browns front office should be ashamed and is 100 percent liable for the mistake in signing him as the replacement to Terrelle Pryor. He’s had attitude and behavioral issues in the past, and they seem to be making their return this season.

The only way to send a message is to cut him. Take the $32.5 million contract to the chin, and move on from that disturbance. He’s added nothing to the club but problems and heartache.

According to USA Today, Britt and Corey Coleman were sent home by Jackson due to missing curfew last Saturday before losing to the Texans.

Britt wasn’t going to play anyway, but it just shows the continued carelessness he has for Jackson and the organization.

More from Factory of Sadness

He added to his mediocre season–and that’s being nice about it, by missing on a wide open pass by Kessler in overtime that would have put the Browns closer to field goal range. It wasn’t a great throw since he was under pressure, but sometimes receivers have to bail their quarterbacks out.

Britt then rolled around on the ground like he was hurt and got booed to the sideline–and rightfully so. The Browns have had a lot of horrible free agent signings since coming back in 1999… and Britt may have topped it.

The team knew that it needed wide receivers with the inconsistency of the trio they drafted last season and the best they can come up with was Britt? He had a career year with the Los Angeles Rams last year, but he still wasn’t a model locker room player.

Kizer struggles and is still learning, but it doesn’t help when your supposed number one receiver is dropping passes and giving lazy efforts to make a play.

He has no place on this team, and I hope he gets released Monday. I try to keep my columns on these players as unbiased as possible, but I can’t stand a player who unwillingly isn’t even trying.

Britt has got to go period.
