5. Surprisingly enough, the Browns keep the game close, but the Lions pull away late.

Nothing on paper gives the Browns much of a chance in this game. However, this could be a bit of a trap game for the Lions, which gives Cleveland a glimmer of hope.

Detroit just had a big win against a division rival in Green Bay on the road. Next week, they have another big divisional game against the Chicago Bears.

But this week, in between the two, they get the winless Browns. Given that Cleveland is not living up to what was expected of them, the chance could be there the Lions play down to their level in some capacity. Detroit already beat a pretty bad team in the New York Giants and they will see the same result again against another bad team.

Stafford and his numerous wide receivers will be the difference in the game. Don’t forget Cleveland has had issues covering tight ends, so Lions’ Eric Ebron could have a big day.

The Browns defense has been very solid this year, but this offense is extremely explosive. Detroit will put up points, and it will be too difficult for the Browns to keep up. Game Prediction: 27-17 Lions as Cleveland falls to 0-9.
